Getting Involved

Holy Orders

Holy orders, or ordination, is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church.

Let Us Extend His Call

In the sacrament of holy orders, the priest who is ordained vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments – especially the Holy Eucharist, by proclaiming the Gospel and by providing other means of holiness.

Everyone has something to contribute. When we encourage others to discern if they
have a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, we show our support for their desire
to serve. Our priests and deacons will happily discuss their vocation, offer insight and
direction to those interested.

 Let us extend His call.
