Youth Ministry
Life Teen is the high school youth group open to all teens in grades 9-12. It is a great opportunity for teens to connect to each other and their faith!
The mission of Life Teen at St. Philip Neri is to form intentional Disciples of Christ by creating experiences where high school teens are able to encounter the Lord. This is done through Environment, Evangelization and the Eucharist. Life Teen:
– Provides an environment that allows for the formation of authentic community among teens through planning events that encourage fun and fellowship.
– Evangelizes through sharing the truths of the faith and the Good News of the Gospel in a relatable way and giving teens reason as to why these teachings are important to them personally.
– Exposes the teens to Christ in the most Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of the faith, on a regular basis.

EDGE is the middle school youth group open to all teens in grades 6-8. It’s a great place for teens to find a good community and grow in their faith!
The mission of St. Philip Neri EDGE is to provide a dynamic environment for middle school teens to have a strong Catholic community and to grow in their faith, helping them to be Christ to each other.

The Mass – Sundays, 5:30 pm
At the Sunday 5:30 pm Mass, teens and their families are invited to experience the depth of God’s love through the Word, the community and the Eucharist. All teens are welcome to sit as a community in one section and are encouraged to participate as lectors, ushers and extraordinary ministers of holy Communion. This Mass offers contemporary music.
Sacramental Preparation – Confirmation
For Catholics, the confirmation sacrament is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. By the sacrament of confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. St. Philip Neri Church offers a confirmation program for tenth grade students, with the goal of creating a space where the teens can encounter Christ.
