The Italian Festival, St. Philip Neri Church’s biggest fellowship event is held each May. Celebrated for over 26 years, the Festival has grown into one of the largest community events in Fort Mill, annually attracting an estimated 10,000 visitors. The Festival offers 3 incredible days and nights of non-stop activities. Arguably, the best part of any festival is the food, and the Italian Festival delivers, with more than 20 different Festival favorites and specialties there for the tasting!

Opportunities to Serve

This event, built upon a “Spirit of Caring and Giving,” would not be possible without the considerable generosity and support of our parish volunteers, local area businesses and Festival attendees. Festival proceeds support the church’s mission, with a portion of the net proceeds given to local community outreach programs.

It takes over 650 volunteers each year to accomplish such a successful event. Our volunteers are people like you, parishioners who recognize the importance of discipleship and are called to serve our parish and our community. You can join the Italian Festival Committee and help to lead and organize, or you can join one of the teams in an area that strikes your interest. There are many, many volunteer opportunities for individuals and families that are available prior to, during, and after the Italian Festival. Like to cook, bake or make meatballs? We have opportunities for you! If you don’t have a lot of time, sign up to help in any way that you can on a day or two of the Festival. Volunteer sign-up for most opportunities begins on April 1.
