Important Information You Need To Know To Attend Mass
We are happy to announce that Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church will reopen for Mass, and no other activities, beginning with Daily Mass on Monday, May 11th and Vigil/Weekend Masses the weekend of May 16th. Our regular Mass schedule will resume.
Stressing the fact that the current pandemic is not yet over, we urge all those in the high-risk population to use the general dispensation granted by Bishop Robert E. Gugielmone. Please use extraordinary caution and good judgement in determining if you should attend Mass. No mortal sin is committed if you decide that you and your family should not attend.
You should NOT attend Mass at this time: If you are coughing, sneezing, or have a fever; If you have asthma, allergies or any chronic lung related disorder; If you are immunocompromised.
If you are 65 years of age or older, you are considered to be in the high-risk population and should use extraordinary caution and good judgement in determining whether you should attend Mass.
To help in making your decision on whether or not to attend Mass, we have created a COVID-19 Self Screening Checklist that you can access using the link below.
To comply with the guidelines provided by the Centers of Disease Control, the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control, and the mandates from State government, we will be limiting the number of people in the worship space to 400.
